This past week was amazing. Our granddaughter (almost 14) visited us from North Carolina. We granted her special wish to come to Colorado and play in the snow. She attracted just the right amount of snow each day of her visit. Her first ever skiing trip was an overwhelming success. Accomplished skiers praised her for going way past new skier expectations. Of course, I'm definitely happy to brag as a proud grandmother.
Miss B (our nickname for her) showed me what tenacity and persistence can do. She knew what she wanted and went after it.
